Project Manager

This opportunity will suit an experienced individual who is looking to progress their career, and who has a desire and ability to help further grow our business whilst working in a supportive team within the Essex office The skills and experience you need to have for this role * An entrepreneurial spirit, combined with inquisitiveness, diligence and resilience * Flexibility, reliability and a ‘can do’ attitude * Excellent communication skills * Be a team player * Ideally degree educated in a relevant engineering / project management related subject * Ideally chartered, progressing to, or considering chartership within RICS, APM or CIOB * Strong understanding of project delivery processes at all RIBA stages. * Significant construction consultancy project management experience or experience of working with construction consultants * The ability to lead projects and teams, and to develop long-lasting client relationships, with autonomy * The ability to set up and drive new projects from inception, including the early stages strategizing and team building, to on-site delivery, completion and handover * Exceptional communication and reporting, incorporating the use of MS Office, MS Project and/or alternative scheduling software. The role will allow the individual independence to lead and manage exciting projects as well as opportunity to work alongside experienced Project Managers on high-profile projects. Previous experience as a Senior Project Manager is required, experience within the Healthcare, Education, Defence, and/or Maritime sectors would be an advantage. Alongside the delivery of projects, this is also an opportunity to use and further develop leadership skills in a young and energetic team.
