Civil Engineer - Infrastructure

Senior Civil Engineer Location: London Salary: £52,000 - £62,000 Ready to take technical ownership of complex urban schemes in London? This Senior Civil Engineer opportunity offers leadership, high-profile projects and clear progression within a respected multidisciplinary consultancy. A well-established design team delivering regeneration, residential and transport-led developments is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to strengthen its London office. As a Senior Civil Engineer, you will lead highways, drainage and infrastructure design from feasibility through to construction while mentoring junior engineers. This Senior Civil Engineer role combines hands-on design delivery with client engagement and sustainable engineering solutions across challenging city-centre projects. Key responsibilities * Deliver highways, drainage, utilities and earthworks designs * Prepare drainage strategies and planning submissions * Liaise with local authorities, undertakers and clients * Produce designs using Civil 3D and drainage software * Ensure compliance with UK standards and guidance * Support and mentor junior engineers Candidate requirements * Degree qualified in Civil Engineering * Around six years' UK consultancy experience * Strong knowledge of SuDS, S278, S38 and site levels * Familiar with DMRB, Sewers for Adoption and CIRIA guidance * Confident communicator with collaborative approach Why apply This Senior Civil Engineer position offers a salary of £52,000 - £62,000, structured development and exposure to technically demanding London projects.
