Logistics Manager

The Opportunity MadiganGill Logistics is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to join the team on a residential development at The Boatyard, Bristol, delivered for Clarion Housing. This is a key site-based role responsible for overseeing all logistics operations to ensure the smooth, safe, and efficient running of the project. Key Responsibilities * Develop and implement the site logistics plan * Manage all site access, deliveries, and traffic management * Coordinate material call-offs and storage solutions * Oversee gate staff, traffic marshals, and logistics operatives * Ensure site cleanliness and organisation are maintained at all times * Manage waste removal and environmental controls * Liaise closely with Site Managers and subcontractors to maintain programme * Conduct daily briefings and toolbox talks * Maintain high Health & Safety standards across logistics operations * Monitor and report on logistics performance and site compliance Requirements * Proven experience as a Logistics Manager on residential or large-scale construction projects * Strong understanding of site operations and sequencing * SMSTS or SSSTS * CSCS Card * Traffic Management knowledge * Excellent organisational and communication skills * Ability to manage multiple subcontractors and suppliers Desirable * Experience working on housing association or residential schemes * First Aid qualification What’s on Offer * Opportunity to work on a reputable residential scheme * Strong support from an established delivery team * Competitive salary / day rate (depending on engagement type)
