Project Engineer

Job Title: Project Engineer - Civil Location: Acton Contract Type: Contract (Inside IR35, via Umbrella only) Duration: Ongoing long-term project We're seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a strong background in design management to support a major UK infrastructure project. This role suits someone who enjoys taking ownership of technical delivery and coordinating design interfaces across multiple disciplines. Key Responsibilities Manage and review design deliverables, ensuring alignment with project specifications and standards. Coordinate between design teams, contractors, and stakeholders to resolve technical queries. Support project planning, design assurance, and change control processes. Oversee technical quality, construction feasibility, and compliance with design intent. Contribute to risk reviews, constructability assessments, and progress reporting. Key Requirements Minimum 5 years' experience as a Project Engineer in civil engineering or MEP projects. Proven experience in design management or design coordination roles. Strong understanding of engineering documentation, drawings, and specifications. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. Knowledge of UK construction standards and health & safety requirements.
