Quantity Surveyor

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for Quantity Surveyor on a 3 Month Contract- with possibility to go Permanent, based in South London/ Kent Role Summary * Liaison with subcontractors for Subcontractor procurement * Validate subcontractor pricing submissions and compile pricing submissions for both site projects and site project variations * Collaborate with Internal field managers to compile pricing submissions for site projects and site variations * Prepare formal pricing submissions to client for Projects and project variations * Support the lifecycle asset manager to prepare costing of proposed lifecycle annual plans and annual maintenance plan * Manage Contract Variations received from client and ensure that they a responded to in a timely fashion * Resolve constraints that are prevent submission of pricing requests to client * Attend client meetings to provide updates on pricing submissions for pricing variations * Collaborate with field managers to ensure all project variations are executed in a timely fashion and on completion of the works that client is invoiced. Requirements * Background in quantity surveying both in projects and maintenance, knowledge of SAP and or ERP systems contractor payment processes, technical awareness of works associated with hard surface facility maintenance business * Stakeholder engagement * Problem solving * Time Management * Highly skilled in use of ERP systems, particularly SAP * Excellent communication skills * Understanding of contract frameworks * Performance measurement and management of contractors * QS Knowledge of Hard Surface activities associated with Healthcare facility maintenance activities * Excellent Word and Excel skills * Strong Presentation skills Our Company Rubicon Consulting is a Talent management consultancy which helps you to optimise business performance and competitive advantage by choosing the right people first time
