Business Analyst (Junior)


Key responsibilities Business Analysis & Support Evaluate and prioritise business needs / requirements / processes to identify areas for improvement and implement appropriate solutions Perform detailed business requirements analysis, gather critical information from various stakeholders and document processes for the preparation of functional specifications Analyse business structures and formulate strategies for businesses to improve based on market research, the competitive landscape, and long-term industry trends o Delivery Assist delivery teams with client engagements by building trusting relationships with stakeholders, supporting project deliverables, and helping reach project milestones Be on charge as part of the delivery team on client engagements Run or facilitate workshops and training sessions with clients to support transition and to help establish transformative change Conduct relevant research to support strategic business planning within the various departments and programmes of the client organisation o Data Analysis Extract relevant data from financial statements and/or other pertinent documentation to inform project goals, limitations and progress Visualise data to illustrate the impact of change on businesses Collect, interpret and evaluate large datasets to develop integrated business analysis and projections to enhance strategic decision-making o Strategy Development Map out ways for businesses to grow, utilising industry benchmarks, past research and applicable strategic frameworks Construct workflow diagrams to identify cost-saving areas and suggest efficient reallocation of resources Identify long-term, sustainable objectives relating to client requirements and needs of Stakeholder engagement & business development Attend client team meetings, actively promoting the TORI brand Communicate with people at all levels in the organisation to find out what they hope to achieve and understand the client’s change agenda Present delivery team findings and recommendations to clients in an engaging, effective and persuasive manner Essential Skills Commercial awareness including knowledge of contemporary consultancy trends Keen understanding of business frameworks and terminology Creative and innovative thinking approach to solving business-related issues Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Strong interpersonal skills Exceptional organisational skills § Advanced IT skills including, but not limited to, Microsoft Office suite Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to effectively communicate technical jargon to non-technical/ commercial teams Qualifications & Experience Degree Level Qualification (Min. 2.1); preferably in a technology or business-related subject A minimum of two years working in a business facing environment as a Business Analyst, Junior Consultant or similar role
