Job Title: Warehouse Operative – Returns Location: Tewkesbury Hours: 09:00 – 18:15 Days: Monday – Friday Pay Rate: £12.50 per hour About the Role gap personnel are looking for a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative – Returns to join our clients busy team at Tewkesbury Warehouse. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role within our Returns Department, offering variety and full training for the right candidate. Key Responsibilities As a Warehouse Operative, your duties may include: Offloading items returning on company vehicles due to failed deliveries or collections Assessing returned goods at the point of offload to determine: Fit for resale Requires further inspection Needs repacking Disposal Assisting other departments with: Order picking Palletising Put-away tasks Moving resaleable stock back into main warehouse locations Operating MHE (LLOP/HLOP) to store returned goods safely and efficiently What the Role Requires Heavy lifting Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Good eye for detail Strong work ethic and team player attitude Candidates Requirements: Previous warehouse or picking experience preferred (but not essential) Physically fit and able to carry out heavy lifting Reliable, punctual, and able to work Monday to Friday Good attention to detail and ability to work to targets Team player with a positive attitude Experience Experience operating LLOP/HLOP equipment would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training will be provided. Training & Development The successful candidate will receive full training across all tasks within the department and will complete relevant courses to safely operate warehouse machinery.
