Female Complex Care HCA – Paediatric 1:1 Package

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Female Healthcare Assistant to support a 12-year-old client with complex clinical needs within a home setting. This role requires confidence in epilepsy management, PEG feeding, and respiratory support. Clinical Requirements (Essential) * Epilepsy management * Administration of Buccal Midazolam * PEG feeding (Nutricia pump) * Oxygen therapy * Suctioning * Cough assist * Observation monitoring * Moving and handling * Postural management * Tissue viability awareness * Medication administration Candidates must be confident recognising early warning signs and escalating appropriately. Shift Pattern Non-Term Time: * 2 x 12-hour day shifts (7:00am – 7:00pm) * 2 x 4-hour evening shifts (4:00pm – 8:00pm) * 2 x 10-hour night shifts (9:00pm – 7:00am) Term Time: * 1 x 12-hour day shift (7:00am – 7:00pm) * 2 x 4-hour evening shifts (4:00pm – 8:00pm) * 2 x 10-hour night shifts (9:00pm – 7:00am) Flexible availability across days, evenings, and nights is required Additional Information * Female carer required (package requirement) * Pet-friendly HCA required – client has a dog in the home * Previous paediatric complex care experience preferred * Minimum 12 months complex care experience This is a rewarding opportunity to provide consistent, high-quality support within a structured and well-supported care package.
