Kitchen Design Consultant Location: Berkshire Salary: £28,500 Basic + uncapped commission (OTE £100,000) Working Pattern: Monday to Friday (rotated Saturdays with a day in lieu) Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent About the Client Oval Deene Recruitment are representing a well-established, independent kitchen and fitted furniture design business operating in the mid-to-high-end residential market. About the Role This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to take full ownership of client projects, managing the complete journey from initial consultation and design through to presentation, sale and handover. You will be responsible for designing and selling high-quality kitchens and fitted furniture while delivering an exceptional client experience. Key Responsibilities: * Design, price and present kitchen and fitted furniture projects using CAD * Manage the full sales process and successfully close high-value orders * Conduct site surveys and measurements to ensure accuracy and smooth project delivery * Deliver a first-class customer experience through clear communication and attention to detail * Proactively build and manage a strong sales pipeline, including outreach to prospective clients and partners * Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless project handover and completion Requirements / Skills: * Minimum 3 years’ experience designing and selling kitchens (mid-to-high-end preferred) * Proven track record of closing £30,000+ order values * Strong CAD proficiency with a portfolio of relevant work (e.g. Compusoft Winner) * Experience with German kitchen furniture and premium appliance brands (desirable, not essential) * Confident, professional communicator with a client-first approach What’s on Offer: * Competitive salary: £28,500 basic plus uncapped commission (OTE £100k) * Structured training, onboarding and ongoing professional development * Supportive, collaborative and high-performance team environment * Opportunity to work on high-quality projects within a leading kitchen retail business How to Apply Apply online or contact Gemma Creasey at Oval Deene Recruitment.
