Data Officer & Admissions Officer (Part-Time – 0.6 FTE Each) Location: Mile End, East London Sector: Secondary Education Contract: Part-Time (0.6 FTE each) Start Date: ASAP A well-regarded secondary school in Mile End is seeking to appoint two experienced professionals to join its administrative team: * 1 × Data Officer (0.6 FTE) * 1 × Admissions Officer (0.6 FTE) These roles are ideal for individuals with school-based experience who are looking for flexible, part-time work within a supportive and fast-paced school environment. Data Officer – Key Responsibilities * Maintain and manage student data using MIS systems (e.g. SIMS / Arbor / Bromcom) * Support data analysis for attendance, attainment, progress and reporting * Ensure accuracy, compliance and timely submission of school data returns * Provide data support to senior leaders and teaching staff Essential: * Previous experience as a School Data Officer or similar role * Strong attention to detail and confidence working with large data sets * Knowledge of school data compliance and confidentiality Admissions Officer – Key Responsibilities * Manage the school’s admissions process in line with local authority procedures * Act as the main point of contact for parents, carers and external agencies * Process applications, waiting lists and pupil transfers * Maintain accurate admissions records and documentation Essential: * Previous experience in school admissions or school administration * Strong communication and organisational skills * Confidence working with parents and local authorities What the School Offers * Supportive and welcoming senior leadership team * Well-established administrative structures * Flexible part-time working (0.6 FTE) * Easily accessible Mile End location (excellent transport links) Requirements * Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply) * Right to work in the UK * Previous experience in a UK secondary school setting preferred How to Apply Apply today with your CV outlining relevant school-based experience.
