Maintenance Engineer - South Norfolk Location Electronics Engineer – Days Location: Norfolk Salary: £45,000 – £50,000 Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Mon–Thurs 8:00–16:00, Fri 8:00–13:30) A well-established packaging manufacturer in Diss is looking to recruit a skilled Electronics Engineer to join their engineering team on a predominantly days-based schedule. This role will focus primarily on projects and preventative maintenance across a modern manufacturing facility, ensuring equipment reliability and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining and improving electronic systems across production machinery. While the position is mainly project and planned maintenance focused, there will also be occasional involvement in breakdown support and some shift cover when required. Key Responsibilities * Deliver preventative maintenance on electronic systems and production equipment * Support engineering projects, upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives * Diagnose and resolve faults on electronic and control systems * Provide technical support during breakdown situations when required * Work closely with production and engineering teams to maintain operational efficiency * Assist with installation and commissioning of new equipment Requirements * Experience working as an Electronics Engineer or similar within a manufacturing environment * Strong fault-finding skills on electronic systems and controls * Experience supporting automated production machinery * Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within an engineering team * Flexible approach to occasionally support breakdowns or shift cover This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable and growing manufacturer offering a strong work-life balance with an early Friday finish.
