Electrician/Testing Engineer Location: Ellesmere, SY12 0AN – Travel within and around this area as required Salary: £37,500–£44,200 (depending on experience) Contract: Full-time, Permanent Benefits: Company vehicle, workwear, pension, annual bonus, 29 days holiday (with additional days for length of service), loyalty scheme Princes LHS Ltd is a well-established electrical contractor known for delivering quality and reliable services. We are looking for a skilled Electrician and Testing Engineer to join our team, focusing on practical electrical work and inspection/testing in domestic and light commercial environments as well as involvement with renewable energy systems such as air source heat pumps, solar PV and battery storage. Key Responsibilities: • Carry out electrical inspection and testing across domestic properties, and some light commercial environments such as pubs and hotels. • Assist in small-scale domestic electrical works as required. • Work independently on site, liaising directly with customers and colleagues. • Ensure health & safety compliance and follow site procedures. • Travel may be required; overnight stays will be required when necessary and expenses reimbursed. • Wiring of solar PV systems and Heat pumps • Testing and commissioning of solar PV systems and battery storage. • On site training will be given where necessary. Potential for progression to a supervisory role exists for candidates demonstrating strong competence and leadership. Experience and Qualifications: • At least 5 years of practical electrical experience. • City & Guilds 236 parts 1 and 2 or NVQ equivalent. • 18th Edition wiring regulations. • City & Guilds 2391 or equivalent testing qualification. • Strong practical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently. • Solar PV and battery storage qualifications an advantage Ready to take the next step in your career with a reputable contractor that values your experience and commitment?
