Site Manager – Healthcare Refurbishment 📍 Dartford, Kent | Projects across London & Home Counties 💷 Up to £60,000 + Car + Pension Our client, one of the UK’s leading contractors specialising in healthcare, medical and clean-room refurbishment, is seeking an experienced Site Manager to join their rapidly growing team. Based from offices in Dartford, Kent, the business has experienced significant growth over the past four years, driven by the successful award of multiple framework agreements with NHS Trusts and medical imaging suppliers. Projects range in value from £20k to £10m and typically involve soft strip and high-spec refurbishment works within live healthcare environments across London and the Home Counties. The Role As Site Manager, you will have full responsibility for the safe, compliant and efficient delivery of healthcare refurbishment projects, often within occupied and operational clinical settings. Key Responsibilities: * Day-to-day management of site operations from start to handover * Managing and coordinating subcontractors in live healthcare environments * Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety, infection control and permit-to-work systems * Maintaining exceptional standards of quality and finish suitable for medical use * Liaising with clients, NHS stakeholders and Trust representatives * Coordinating closely with internal design, commercial and project teams * Monitoring programme, progress and quality against contract requirements * Chairing site meetings and producing clear progress and compliance reports * Managing site logistics, access constraints and live hospital operations * Ensuring compliance with relevant HTM / HBN guidance where applicable About You You will be an experienced Site Manager with a strong understanding of the complexities of working within live healthcare environments. Essential Requirements: * Background in Carpentry or Decorating preferred * Proven experience delivering refurbishment projects (healthcare experience advantageous) * Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certifications * Strong working knowledge of Health & Safety and site compliance * IT literate with good reporting and communication skills * Full UK driving licence What’s on Offer * Competitive salary of up to £60,000 * Company car * Pension scheme * Long-term pipeline of secured healthcare work * Opportunity to deliver technically challenging, high-spec medical projects 🕖 Working Hours: Typically 7:00am – 4:00pm 📍 Location: Site-based for the duration of the programme To apply, please forward an up-to-date CV
