We’re partnering with a well‑established, supportive children’s residential provider that truly invests in its managers. You’ll be trusted to open and lead a specialist 2‑bed home supporting children aged 8–17 with emotional and behavioural difficulties, within a calm, nurturing, child‑centred environment. This isn’t about ticking boxes — it’s about building something meaningful. What This Role Gives You The chance to step into Registered Manager status with full Ofsted support. Real ownership of a small, specialist home — not overcrowded or stretched. Space to create a culture that reflects your values and leadership style. Your Role as Registered Manager (Ofsted registration required – support provided throughout) You’ll be trusted to run the home day‑to‑day and set the standard for care, practice, and culture. Your responsibilities will include: * Leading the safe opening and ongoing operation of a 2‑bed children’s home * Building, inspiring, and developing a committed staff team * Creating a safe, trauma‑informed, child‑centred environment * Maintaining high standards in line with Ofsted and Children’s Homes Regulations * Managing rotas, supervisions, budgets, and development plans * Acting as the home’s Registered Manager with Ofsted You won’t be micromanaged — but you will be fully supported.
