Assembly Operative

Market 36 Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Assembly Operative on behalf of our client based in Bishop’s Stortford, on a temp-to-perm basis. The successful candidate will have previous experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with a good understanding of process control, quality, and the use of hand tools. Roles & Responsibilities * Reading and following drawings and work instructions accurately to produce high-quality products. * Understanding time management, logistics, and process control to achieve or exceed production targets. * Maintaining records and adhering to quality and regulatory processes with consistency. * Performing general production and finishing tasks as required. * Using hand tools safely and efficiently for electrical and mechanical production work. * Assisting in the preparation and assembly of materials and components. * Undertaking other general duties within the production department where required. Experience, Education & Qualifications * Previous experience in production, assembly, or manufacturing work. * Grit blasting, powder coating, or similar finishing experience is advantageous. * Knowledge of hand tools and confidence in their use. * Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical drawings. * Good time management and organisational skills. * Health and safety conscious. Salary: £13.00 per hour Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm, Monday to Friday Benefits: Free on-site parking, canteen facilities, and potential for a permanent contract following the temporary period.
