Commissioning Package Manager Location: Zurich, Switzerland €90,000 - €120,000 + Rotation + Accommodation + Travel + €32,000 EU allowance Type: Full-Time | On-Site Sector: Hyperscale Data Centres | Mission-Critical Infrastructure A leading European engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Commissioning Package Manager to take ownership of commissioning delivery on a major hyperscale data centre project in Zurich. This organisation delivers complex, high-value mission-critical facilities across Europe for global technology and life sciences clients. With a strong pipeline of hyperscale projects, this role offers long-term stability, excellent exposure, and progression within commissioning leadership. As Commissioning Package Manager, you will lead all commissioning activities from early planning through to IST, client handover, and final acceptance, working closely with construction, engineering, vendors, and the client team. This is a senior, site-based role with full responsibility for commissioning strategy, execution, and reporting. Key Responsibilities * Lead and manage the full commissioning package across mechanical and electrical systems * Develop, implement, and maintain the project commissioning plan and schedules * Coordinate commissioning activities with construction, engineering, planning, and QA teams * Manage commissioning contractors, vendors, and specialist service providers * Oversee FAT, SAT, IST, and integrated testing activities * Chair commissioning meetings and drive issue resolution and progress tracking * Manage commissioning documentation, trackers, and handover deliverables * Ensure commissioning activities comply with safety, quality, and project requirements * Support phased handover and client acceptance Skills & Experience * Degree-qualified in Mechanical, Electrical, or Building Services Engineering * 5+ years’ experience in a commissioning leadership role * Strong data centre or mission-critical project background (essential) * Proven experience managing IST and complex system commissioning * Excellent coordination, reporting, and stakeholder management skills * Strong understanding of safety, quality, and commissioning best practices * Comfortable working in fast-paced, large-scale construction environments What’s on Offer * €90,000 - €120,000 base salary * €35,000 Swiss allowance * Long-term hyperscale data centre project * Strong European project pipeline * Career progression within commissioning leadership * High-quality, safety-led project environment
