Electrical Engineer Location: Düsseldorf, Germany €70,000 - €80,000 + Rotation + Accommodation + Travel + €28,000 EU allowance Type: Full-Time | On-Site Sector: Data Centres | Mission-Critical Infrastructure A leading European engineering contractor is seeking an Electrical Engineer to support the delivery of a large-scale data centre project in Düsseldorf. This role sits within a high-performing site team delivering complex, mission-critical electrical infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in engineering coordination, site delivery, and technical compliance across HV/LV systems, working closely with project management, subcontractors, and BIM teams. Key Responsibilities * Manage electrical systems within your assigned scope * Coordinate with design teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and client stakeholders * Review IFC drawings, specifications, and manage RFIs and technical queries * Support site safety, QA, and compliance processes * Coordinate BIM outputs to support installation and programme requirements * Manage technical submittals, procurement support, and material tracking * Monitor installation quality and support commissioning and handover * Assist with progress reporting, cost tracking, and project close-out Key Requirements * 5+ years’ experience with an M&E or electrical contractor * Strong understanding of electrical systems in data centre or critical environments * Experience with BIM coordination, RFIs, and technical submittals * Familiarity with Primavera or similar planning tools * Strong organisational and communication skills * Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced site environment What’s on Offer * Major data centre project in Germany * Competitive salary + EU allowance + package * Long-term European project pipeline * Clear progression into Senior Engineer or Project Engineer roles
