Design Engineer

About the Role A leading international contractor specialising in mission‑critical and large‑scale infrastructure projects is seeking a Design Engineer to join its expanding design team. This role will support the design, coordination, and delivery of a major data centre project in Finland. Key Responsibilities Support design development from concept through construction and commissioning. Produce, review, and coordinate design drawings, calculations, and specifications. Collaborate with internal design teams, BIM specialists, and external consultants. Assist with Technical Submittals and ensure all design documentation meets project standards. Respond to RFIs and design queries in a timely manner. Participate in coordination meetings and design workshops. Support change management processes and assess design change impacts. Ensure design outputs meet quality, health & safety, and environmental requirements. Assist with as‑built drawings, O&M documents, and project handover. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction, or related discipline. 2-5 years' experience in a design engineering role (construction, consultancy, or contracting). Experience on large‑scale projectsd. Strong understanding of design coordination and construction methodologies. Strong organisational and communication skills.
