Secondary Tutors Required - Salford Area Work with Looked After Children | Flexible Hours | Competitive Pay An established education agency is currently recruiting experienced and compassionate Secondary Tutors to support Looked After Children (LAC) across the Salford area. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people who require additional academic support and consistency outside of mainstream classroom settings. The Role: Deliver 1:1 tuition to secondary-aged students (KS3-KS4) Support core subjects (English, Maths, Science - additional subjects welcomed) Plan and deliver engaging, differentiated sessions Build positive, trusting relationships with vulnerable learners Provide progress updates and feedback to the agency and relevant professionals We Are Looking For: Qualified teachers, experienced tutors, or strong subject specialists Experience working with secondary-aged students Previous experience with SEND, SEMH, or Looked After Children is highly desirable Patient, empathetic and resilient individuals Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) Ability to work independently and manage own schedule What We Offer: Competitive hourly rates Flexible working hours to suit your availability Consistent referrals within the Salford area Ongoing support from a dedicated consultant The opportunity to make a meaningful impact This role is ideal for education professionals seeking flexible work while contributing to improved outcomes for vulnerable young people.
