Local Trade Account Manager Location: Dorset Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 DOE + Uncapped commission Employment Type: Full-time / Permanent About the Client KBB Recruitment is representing a well-established, high-end kitchen, bathroom, and home interiors company with a strong presence in Poole and the wider area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a client known for their exceptional customer service, blended trade and retail operations, and commitment to growing long-term relationships with both local tradespeople and retail customers. About the Role This role offers the successful candidate the opportunity to manage and grow local trade sales across Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, and surrounding areas, while also supporting day-to-day operations in a busy showroom. You will be a key contact for trade customers, driving revenue growth and delivering an exceptional customer experience across both trade and retail segments. Key Responsibilities: Drive trade sales growth across the BCP area Build and maintain strong relationships with local builders, plumbers, installers, and developers Actively seek out and onboard new local trade customers Support retail customers visiting the Outlet with product advice and quotations Process trade and retail orders accurately and efficiently Handle customer enquiries and resolve issues in a professional manner Achieve monthly sales targets, managing your own sales pipeline from enquiry to fulfilment Track and follow up on leads to maximise opportunities Maintain showroom presentation, support opening/closing procedures, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment and contribute to overall Outlet performance Requirements / Skills: Previous experience within KBB, plumbing, heating, or related sectors Proven experience selling to trade customers Experience in a retail or showroom environment preferred Strong commercial awareness and ability to manage a sales pipeline Excellent relationship-building and communication skills (face-to-face, phone, and email) Proactive, organised, and customer-focused Comfortable using CRM systems and sales tools What’s on Offer: Opportunity to work with a well-established and respected KBB business Professional development and career growth within a blended trade and retail environment Supportive and collaborative team culture How to Apply To apply, please send your CV and a brief covering note to or call Amber on (phone number removed) .
