Assistant Site Manager


The Opportunity We are currently recruiting for two Assistant Site Managers to join a major student accommodation development in Wembley. This is a large-scale, multi-unit scheme offering an excellent opportunity for ambitious, up-and-coming construction professionals looking to progress their careers on a high-profile project. This role would suit driven individuals with strong main contractor experience, particularly those who have worked within structured environments such as Bouygues or similar Tier 1 / Tier 2 contractors. Key Responsibilities * Support the Senior Site Manager and Project Manager in day-to-day site operations * Oversee subcontractors and ensure works are delivered safely, on time, and to specification * Monitor quality control and manage snagging processes * Ensure strict adherence to Health & Safety regulations * Coordinate trades and manage programme sequencing * Assist with inspections, reporting, and client liaison where required * Maintain accurate site records and progress updates Requirements * Experience working as an Assistant Site Manager on residential or mixed-use schemes * Exposure to RC frame, groundworks, and/or large-scale residential projects preferred * Strong understanding of site processes and programme management * SMSTS or SSSTS * CSCS (Black or White card preferred) * First Aid (desirable) * Ambitious, proactive, and career-driven Ideal Candidate Profile We are particularly interested in “young and up-and-coming” site professionals who are looking to step up and develop within a structured, fast-paced main contractor environment.
