Experienced Plant / Diesel Fitter PLS Civil Engineering Ltd 📍 Shirebrook (UK Travel Required) 💰 £45,000 – £55,000 + Company Van + Phone + Laptop 🕒 Permanent | Full-Time Join a Growing Civil Engineering Contractor PLS Civil Engineering Ltd is expanding — and we are looking for a highly skilled Senior Plant / Diesel Fitter to take ownership of maintaining and supporting our modern Case plant fleet. This is not just a workshop role. You will play a critical part in keeping major civil engineering projects operational across the UK. We are looking for someone proactive, dependable and technically strong who takes pride in high standards of workmanship. What You’ll Be Doing * Servicing and repairing heavy civil engineering plant (excavators predominently Case machines, dumpers, rollers, etc.) * Maintaining small plant and tools (Stihl saws, wacker plates, generators, etc.) * Diagnosing hydraulic, mechanical and electrical faults * Attending breakdowns nationwide * Conducting thorough examinations and inspections * Managing service schedules and plant records * Supporting operational teams to minimise downtime What We’re Looking For * Strong experience as a Plant Fitter / Field Service Engineer / Diesel Fitter * Confident in fault finding and working independently * Civil engineering plant background essential * Reliable, organised and safety-focused * Full UK driving licence Advantageous * CPCS / NPORS * CSCS * HGV licence * Welding & fabrication skills * Experience on Case machinery Why Join Us? ✔ Competitive £45k–£55k salary ✔ Company van provided ✔ Mobile phone & laptop ✔ Autonomy and responsibility ✔ Secure long-term position ✔ Growing company with progression potential 📩 Submit your CV today via CV Library
