We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a skilled Mobile Maintenance Engineer with a plumbing bias to join a well-established Facilities Management provider operating across a predominantly commercial property portfolio. Location: London & M25 Corridor Salary: £40,000 – £45,000 + Paid Travel + Overtime Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent Sector: Facilities Management / Building Services / Commercial Maintenance The Role This is a mobile position covering London and the surrounding areas within and around the M25. You’ll be responsible for a mix of: * Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) * Reactive repairs * Compliance & statutory testing * Minor mechanical works Key Responsibilities Install, repair and maintain plumbing systems including pipes, valves, fixtures, drainage and water supply systems Diagnose faults such as leaks, blockages and system failures, providing efficient, long-lasting solutions Work on hot and cold water systems, pumps, valves and general mechanical plant room equipment Carry out compliance tasks including: Read and interpret technical drawings and building plans Ensure all work complies with current building regulations and health & safety standards Work collaboratively with other engineers and trades across commercial sites What We’re Looking For NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Plumbing (or equivalent experience) Experience working within a commercial maintenance or FM environments Confident carrying out both plumbing and general building services maintenance Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Professional communication skills when dealing with clients and site contacts Experience working in plant rooms and mechanical building services Reliable, proactive and self-motivated Full UK driving licence Package & Benefits * Basic salary £40,000 – £45,000 (dependent on experience) * Company vehicle * Ongoing training & development * Uniform and PPE * Specialist tools and equipment * Structured travel payment system * 1 hour travel paid in the morning * 1 hour travel paid in the evening * Return journey paid subject to completion of standard 8-hour day * Overtime opportunities Why Apply?
