The below job description will outline this position of: Marine Laminator Typically, this person will work as part of a production team building, focusing on the laminating and composite work required to form the hulls, decks, and associated structures. They will ensure high-quality standards in line with marine specifications and production schedules. Duties and responsibilities of the Marine Laminator: * Hand lay-up and vacuum bagging of composite materials, including GRP and carbon fibre * Laminating components such as hulls, decks, consoles, and internal fittings for new-build vessels * Trimming, sanding, and preparing moulds and finished products * Reading and working from technical drawings and laminating specifications * Carrying out quality checks and repairs as needed * Ensuring clean, safe, and efficient work practices within the workshop Qualifications and requirements for the Marine Laminator: * Proven experience in GRP/composite laminating within the marine sector * Ability to work from technical drawings and follow lay-up schedules * Understanding of composite materials and processes such as hand lay, infusion, and vacuum bagging * Good attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality workmanship * Able to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced production environment This vacancy is being advertised by HSB Technical, who have been appointed to act as the recruitment consultancy for this role
