Site Manager - Planned Maintenance Project: Freemens Meadow – EWI & SHDF Works Location: Leicester Salary: Up to £50,000 + £5,000 Car Allowance + Package About the Project We are recruiting for an experienced Site Manager to deliver a £12m refurbishment scheme at Freemens Meadow in Leicester. The project involves the refurbishment of 7 low-rise residential blocks, including External Wall Insulation (EWI) installation and works delivered under the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF). This is a significant energy-efficiency and sustainability-driven scheme aimed at improving thermal performance and reducing carbon emissions across the estate. The Role As Site Manager, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget, and to a high standard of quality. You will be the key operational lead on site, coordinating subcontractors, managing programme milestones, and maintaining strong communication with residents and stakeholders. Key responsibilities include * Managing all on-site activities across 7 occupied low-rise blocks * Supervising subcontractors, particularly EWI installers and associated trades * Driving programme performance and meeting key delivery milestones * Maintaining high health & safety standards at all times * Conducting site inductions, toolbox talks, and daily briefings * Monitoring quality control and ensuring works meet specification * Coordinating materials, logistics, and site set-up * Liaising with the client, consultants, and resident liaison teams * Supporting commercial control through accurate record keeping and reporting About You We are looking for a proactive and hands-on Site Manager with experience delivering refurbishment or energy-efficiency schemes within occupied residential environments.
