Production Manager £60,000 - £65,000 + Bonus + Excellent Benefits Colchester area A well established, world leading electronic instrumentation company are looking to recruit an experienced Production Manager to lead manufacturing and stores operations at their site near Colchester The Role Reporting to the Site & Operations Director, you will lead day-to-day Production and Stores operations, ensuring safe, efficient, right-first-time manufacturing in line with customer, quality and OTIF targets. You will: Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, VSM) Improve OEE, throughput and first-pass yield using KPI-driven performance management Lead, coach and develop supervisors and operators Ensure compliance with IPC standards and regulated manufacturing processes Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Engineering, Procurement and Quality Identify capacity constraints and support future manufacturing strategy About You Proven Production Manager / Senior Manufacturing Leader within PCB, electronics or regulated manufacturing Strong Lean background (Yellow Belt minimum; Green Belt desirable) Experience in controlled manufacturing environments and structured root cause analysis Strong people leadership and performance management capability Confident balancing quality, cost, delivery and safety priorities What's On Offer Competitive salary (£60-65k) Company bonus scheme 25 days holiday plus bank holidays plus salary sacrifice scheme to purchase extra holidays Company sick pay Salary sacrifice pension Life assurance Employee benefits platform Clear progression opportunities within a growing international group Free onsite parking This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on, results-driven manufacturing leader to join a growing, forward-thinking business with strong investment in people and technology.
