Production Operative

Job Description: Production Operator Location: Chipping Norton Salary: £13.34 per hour Hours: Monday – Thursday, (45 hours per week) Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated Production Operator to join a busy manufacturing environment. You will work closely with the operations team to ensure production runs efficiently and products are delivered to the highest standard. Responsibilities * Operate production machinery and equipment. * Prepare and load materials into machines. * Trim, stack, and assemble products to required specifications. * Ensure quality products are produced on time. * Support production team to meet component and order requirements. * Move materials or products independently or in pairs (7kg–32kg). * Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Mandatory Responsibilities * Work safely in accordance with health and safety guidelines. * Follow risk assessments, work instructions, and training provided. * Do not undertake tasks without proper authorisation or training. Skills & Experience * Experience in a fast-paced production or manufacturing environment. * Team player with flexibility and adaptability. * Good organisational, verbal, and written communication skills. * Basic PC skills. * Counterbalance forklift licence or crane operation experience is desirable but not essential. * Proactive and able to show initiative. Reporting You will report to the Shift Supervisor and work closely with other production staff to support all areas of the operation as required
