Parts & Aftersales Advisor


Job Description: We are searching for a Parts & Aftersales Advisor to join a growing team at a reputable garden machinery distribution company based in Swindon. This role will start following a successful interview. Key Responsibilities: * Assist customers, including members of the public (B2C) and trade clients (B2B), over the phone and online with parts inquiries. * Identify and recommend the correct parts based on customer needs. * Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance. * Upsell additional products and services when appropriate. * Handle customer complaints and returns professionally. * Process sales transactions using our premier stock system. * Prepare invoices, quotes, and purchase orders. * Coordinate with suppliers and service technicians for part orders. Requirements: * Experience in lawnmower, garden machinery, or automotive parts sales (preferred but not essential). * Excellent communication and customer service skills. * Ability to use parts lookup software and online catalogues. * Basic computer skills (MS Office). * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. Pay and Hours: * Monday to Friday, 08:30–17:00 For the successful candidate in this field, there are progression opportunities within the department. This role is ideal for candidates looking for a new career path with previous experience in customer service or parts advising. Full training is provided. A technical background in small engines, lawn equipment, or mechanics is preferred but not essential. Experience in a similar role is also beneficial.
