Mechanical Design Engineer

Role: ONE Consulting have been engaged to recruit a Mecahnical Design Engineer for an advanced manufacturing organisation based in south Wales. This role is suited to a dynamic mechanical design engineer looking to advance their career in a broader role. * Working with new and existing customers to discuss, develop, and deliver tailored mechanical engineering solutions. * Analysis of customer requirements, compliancy and facilitating solution design and development through to production. * The role will involve customer meetings, both digital and in-person, suiting a professional with excellent communication and relationship management skills. Education/Experience: * Degree or masters qualification in a relevant Mechanical, Automotive, Aerospace or similar Engineering discipline. * Able to lead small engineering design and production teams to develop and mechanical design projects, from brief, through the development process, approvals, build, and customer delivery. * Exposure to project management/project engineering delivery, ideally with experience of leading engineering design and delivery projects. * Experience of design engineering packages such as SolidWorks or Inventor.
