Fire Extinguisher Engineer

The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, servicing, maintenance, and commissioning of portable fire extinguishers and associated fire safety equipment. The role covers a local patch within approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour from the Wolverhampton office. This is a field-based position with excellent earning potential through commission on remedial works and equipment sales, with realistic on-target earnings £5,000 above base salary. Key Responsibilities * Service and maintain portable fire extinguishers in line with BS 5306 standards * Carry out installations and replacements of extinguishers and related fire safety equipment * Identify remedial works and upsell additional fire safety products/services where appropriate * Complete all documentation accurately and in a timely manner * Provide excellent customer service and maintain strong client relationships * Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations Requirements * Proven experience as a Fire Extinguisher Engineer * Knowledge of BS 5306 standards * Relevant FIA or equivalent industry qualifications (desirable) * Full UK driving licence * Strong communication and customer service skills * Ability to work independently and manage own workload Package * £30,000 – £32,000 basic salary (depending on experience) * Commission structure (OTE £35,000 – £37,000) * Company vehicle * Mobile phone and tablet * Pension scheme * Ongoing training and development Working Hours Monday to Friday, standard business hours (with occasional flexibility depending on client needs)
