Mechanical Engineer (Days Role) West London Monday–Friday | 8am–5pm (Days) Salary: £42,000 + Benefits We are currently recruiting for an experienced Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established facilities management contract on a day shift basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer seeking a stable Monday–Friday role within a professional and supportive environment. The Role As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across a commercial site, ensuring all mechanical systems are operating efficiently and safely. Key responsibilities include: Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical plant and equipment Maintaining HVAC systems, AHUs, FCUs, pumps, motors and pipework Fault finding and diagnosing mechanical issues Completing minor installation and remedial works Ensuring compliance with health & safety regulations Updating maintenance records via CAFM systems Supporting site projects and continuous improvement initiatives What We’re Looking For Recognised Mechanical qualification (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 or equivalent) Previous experience within commercial building services or FM Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical systems Good understanding of compliance and safe systems of work Professional, reliable and client-focused approach What’s On Offer £42,000 salary Monday–Friday working hours (work-life balance) Overtime opportunities Company pension Training and development support Long-term career progression
