Mechanical Shift Engineer West London Shift Pattern (Days & Nights) Salary: £45,000 + Benefits We are currently recruiting for a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join a well-established facilities management contract on a shift basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a professional engineering team working within a modern commercial environment. The Role As a Mechanical Shift Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering planned and reactive maintenance across mechanical building services systems, ensuring the site operates safely, efficiently and without disruption. Key duties include: Carrying out PPM and reactive maintenance on mechanical systems Working on HVAC, pumps, motors, AHUs, FCUs, pipework and associated plant Fault finding and resolving mechanical issues quickly and effectively Supporting minor installations and remedial works Ensuring all works are completed in line with health & safety regulations Updating job records via CAFM system Supporting the wider shift team when required What We’re Looking For Qualified in Mechanical Engineering (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent) Experience within commercial building services or FM environments Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills Knowledge of health & safety and safe systems of work Ability to work effectively within a shift team What’s On Offer £45,000 salary Stable shift-based role Overtime opportunities Company pension Ongoing training and development Long-term career progression
