Navigation Systems Engineer – Defence / Aerospace | GNSS, IMU & Anti-Jam Sensors | £57k + Bonus Location: Stevenage or Bristol Hours: 37 hours per week Are you a talented systems engineer with experience in navigation sensors, GNSS, or inertial measurement systems? What You’ll Do * Carry out specification and assessment of navigation sensors, including GNSS receivers, anti-jam units, and inertial measurement units (IMUs). * Monitor supplier and technology roadmaps to identify cutting-edge navigation technology. * Support sub-assembly and equipment assessment trials and undertake research activities as part of an international team. * Contribute to multi-national programmes and develop innovative solutions to complex aerospace and defence challenges. What We’re Looking For * Degree in Electronic Engineering, Physics, or a related field. * Experience in defence or aerospace engineering, navigation systems, RF, or avionics. * Strong understanding of GNSS functionality, multi-constellation technology, and system integration. * Knowledge of GNSS jamming, spoofing, and CRPA systems. * Experience with MATLAB and/or Simulink desirable. * Project management, delivery, and commercial awareness are a bonus.
