Class 2 HGV Driver – Refuse and Recycling

Job Description: We’re looking for HGV Class 2 Drivers to join our clients friendly Refuse and Recycling team the RH and surrounding postal area. If you're a reliable and safety-conscious driver who enjoys working as part of a team, this could be the perfect role for you. This is a temp-to-perm opportunity offering long-term job security, regular hours, and a supportive work environment. What You’ll Do: • Drive a Class 2 dustcart to collect household waste and recycling • Work as part of a crew – some manual loading will be required • Ensure safe and efficient operation of the vehicle at all times • Provide excellent service to the local community What We Offer: • Full-time hours – Monday to Friday (overtime available) • Temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate • Full induction and training – no waste experience needed • Supportive team environment • Weekly pay Requirements: • Valid HGV Class 2 licence (Category C) • CPC qualification & Digital Tacho Card • Good physical fitness (due to manual work) • 1 year of HGV Class 2 driving experience • A positive, reliable attitude and strong work ethic Desirable (but not essential): • Experience driving a dustcart or in waste collection
