Job Title: School Transport Driver (SEND Focus) Location: Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Telford & Cannock Hours: Part-Time (15-30 hours per week, split shifts) Pay Rate: £13.50 Contract: Term-Time Only (Approx. 190 days per year)   About the Role:   We are seeking caring, reliable, and professional School Transport Drivers to join our team, supporting children and young people, particularly pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) to travel safely to and from school.   This is a rewarding opportunity for individuals who are passionate about making a difference in children's daily lives while enjoying a flexible, term-time-only schedule.   Key Responsibilities Safely transport children to and from school in accordance with scheduled routes. Work closely with Passenger Assistants to ensure pupils are supported appropriately. Provide a calm, caring, and positive environment for children during their journey. Carry out daily vehicle checks and maintain high safety standards at all times. Follow safeguarding procedures and company policies. Working Hours Early mornings and late afternoons (split shifts). 15-30 hours per week. Term-time only (approximately 190 working days per year). School holidays off. Essential Requirements Valid UK PCV Licence (Category D or D1). Valid Driver CPC Card. Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one). Strong commitment to safety and safeguarding. Desirable (but not essential) Experience in school transport. Experience working with children with SEN/SEND. A calm, patient, and empathetic approach. What We Offer Consistent part-time hours.
