Director of Local Government Reorganisation

Ribble Recruitment are recrutiing for an experienced senior transformation leader to direct the Local Government Reorganisation (LGR) programme across West Sussex. This is a high-profile, system-wide leadership role responsible for delivering a safe, legal and well-planned transition to a new operating model. You will lead a complex portfolio of workstreams, ensuring strong governance, financial control, service continuity and effective stakeholder engagement throughout. Key Responsibilities * Provide strategic leadership for the LGR portfolio and set the delivery roadmap * Lead the Portfolio Management Office and coordinate all workstreams * Establish robust governance, risk and assurance frameworks * Work closely with Members, Chief Executives and senior leaders * Oversee workforce transition (including TUPE), finance, digital, assets and service integration * Ensure safe and compliant go-live with minimal service disruption This is a Hybrid working role!
