Job Overview Architect Job in Brighton for an ARB Registered Architect with 2+ years’ post-Part 3 experience. This permanent position is based in the Brighton studio of an award-winning architecture practice, with a minimum of three days per week in the office. The Architect Job in Brighton will focus on multi-unit residential, regeneration and conservation-led projects. Current schemes include a hotel restoration and new-build project on Brighton seafront, alongside council-led affordable housing and strategic land developments. This role suits a mid-level Architect seeking greater delivery responsibility within a collaborative studio environment. The position offers direct exposure to Directors and involvement across RIBA Stages 2–5. Role & Responsibilities • Work across multiple live architectural projects concurrently • Contribute to a hotel restoration and new-build scheme in Brighton • Deliver multi-unit residential and council-led housing projects • Support regeneration and strategic land masterplanning initiatives • Lead design development packages under senior guidance • Prepare and coordinate Revit models and technical drawing packages • Ensure compliance with UK Building Regulations and planning requirements • Attend design team meetings with clients, consultants and local authorities • Participate in studio design reviews and workshops Skills & Experience Required • ARB Registered Architect (Part 3 qualified) • Minimum 2+ years’ post-Part 3 experience • Proven experience delivering multi-unit residential schemes in the UK • Experience working across RIBA Stages 2–5 • Strong knowledge of UK Building Regulations • Proficiency in Revit for live project delivery • Experience in affordable or council housing desirable • Understanding of conservation and refurbishment projects advantageous • Confident working semi-independently within a collaborative studio • Strong design and technical coordination skills • Presentation skills including hand sketching or Adobe Photoshop beneficial Salary & Benefits • £36,000 – £40,000 depending on experience • Matched pension contribution • Generous annual leave entitlement • Cycle to Work scheme • Volunteering days • Flexible working culture with minimum three days in the Brighton studio • Direct exposure to senior leadership • Clear pathway for internal progression • Regular social events and collaborative studio environment Apply If you meet the criteria above, send us your CV and portfolio.
