Vehicle Technician / Mechanic 📍 Cocking, Midhurst, GU29 0HN 💰 £32,000 – £47,000 per year (depending on experience) 🕒 Full-time | In-person About the Role Our client is a busy, independent local garage based in Cocking, near Midhurst. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their friendly and professional team. Key Responsibilities * Servicing, maintenance, and repairs on all makes and models of vehicles * Routine repairs including brakes, suspension, exhausts, tyres, clutches, and timing belts * Carrying out diagnostics and electrical fault finding * Diagnosing engine and transmission issues * Preparing vehicles for sale * Communicating effectively with colleagues and customers What They’re Looking For * NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds Level 3 in Automotive (or equivalent) * Proven workshop experience * Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills * Full UK driving licence * Good customer service and communication skills Desirable (but not essential): * MOT Class 4 testing licence * EV/Hybrid vehicle training (training can be provided) Benefits * Company pension * Employee discount * Sick pay * Free on-site parking If you’re a skilled technician looking to join a supportive independent garage with a strong local reputation, we’d love to hear from you
