ou will take responsibility for managing a range of domestic/ commercial claims from preparation of schedules, providing detailed reports, identifying damage and providing guidance on repairs required. You will take ownership of preparing H&S documents and ensuring works are completed with quality workmanship. This opportunity would be ideal for candidates based in London as we serve Central and South West areas. Main Responsibilities: * Carry out detailed surveys of property damage as per client’s specification * Prepare schedule of costs for building repairs using client software * Preparing budgets and programmes * Have detailed knowledge of property repair works and associated costs including decoration, tiling, flooring, carpentry, plumbing, electrics etc * Arrange schedule of works and carry our regular site audits providing updates to the office team * Prepare H&S documents and CPPs * Manage quality of works and resolve disputes Role Requirements * Proven experience in the building repairs and property refurbishment industry * Understanding of H&S and Building Regulations * Experience of insurance claims handling would be advantageous but is not essential * Ideally a surveying/ engineering degree * Experience in handling and the resolving complaints * A good working knowledge of IT and Microsoft packages * Experience of working to tight timescales and meeting client specific SLA’s * Ability to provide detailed quotations with competitive costs. * Good understanding of industry with strong ability to negotiate * Attention to detail, can work independently and prioritise workload * Has a Proactive and hands on approach * Strong written and communication skills with focus on delivering high quality customer service * Outstanding problem-solving ability and strong decision-making skills Offer * Competitive Salary based on experience, skills and qualifications * Monday to Friday, Hybrid working – from office, home and property visits * Holiday allowance of 20 days plus bank holiday
