Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Trainee / Assistant Quantity Surveyor Location: Liverpool Street, London (Hybrid – 3 days office / 2 days home) Salary: £30,000 – £35,000 + Bonus About your new role: Our client is seeking an ambitious and motivated Assistant Quantity Surveyor to join their growing commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone at the early stages of their career who is eager to learn and develop within a dynamic consultancy environment. The successful candidate will work closely with the director who has over 15 years’ industry experience delivering projects on both contractor and client sides, with project values exceeding £25 million. This hands-on mentorship will provide invaluable exposure to the full breadth of the Quantity Surveying role. Key responsibilities: From day one, you will gain practical experience across the core disciplines of Quantity Surveying, including: Tendering and estimating Measurement and take-offs Reading and interpreting construction drawings Client liaison and professional communication Contract administration and an introduction to contract law Cost planning, reporting, and forecasting Requirements for the Trainee / Assistant Quantity Surveyor: A minimum of 1 years experience with a main contractor or cost consultancy. Team player Strong communication skills Experience with MS Office packages
