An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Solicitor to join my clients team in their Brighton offices on a hybrid basis. You will have the opportunity to manage your own caseload while working closely with the Head of Department and senior colleagues, developing your expertise within a friendly and collaborative environment Key Responsibilities: • Drafting and negotiating documents for Mergers & Acquisitions, including share and asset purchase agreements • Supporting clients in preparing their businesses for sale • Conducting and reviewing legal due diligence • Advising on corporate structuring, such as shareholders’ agreements, articles of association and joint venture agreements • Preparing reports and ancillary documentation for transactional matters • Assisting with the co‑ordination, project management and smooth running of transactions Skills & Experience: • NQ to 2 years PQE • Experience in corporate legal services (essential) • Exposure to employment or commercial law (advantageous) • Strong drafting skills with excellent attention to detail • Confidence communicating with clients both in person and by phone • A proactive, positive approach and willingness to learn • The ability to work both independently and as part of a close‑knit team Benefits: • Competitive annual leave • Private medical cover • Life insurance • Company pension • Enhanced maternity and paternity pay • Hybrid working • Working hours of 9am – 5pm Monday to Friday • Dog friendly office days • Regular calendar of staff social events Should you have any questions or wish to apply please do not hesitate to contact Clear Legal and Financial Recruitment.
