Learning Support Assistant 📍 Stevenage 🕒 Full-Time | Monday-Friday | 8:30am-3:30pm 📅 Term Time Only We are currently seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant. About the Role As a Learning Support Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting students who may have additional needs. You will work closely with teachers to help pupils access the curriculum, stay engaged in learning, and reach their full potential. This is a rewarding position for someone who is patient, proactive, and passionate about making a positive difference in young people's lives. Key Responsibilities: Supporting students with additional learning needs in the classroom Providing one-to-one and small group support Assisting pupils with their classwork and helping them stay focused Supporting students with social, emotional, or behavioural needs Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment Working collaboratively with teachers and SEN staff Requirements: Previous experience as a Learning Support Assistant or in a similar role Experience supporting children with additional needs (e.g., SEN, ADHD, ASD, learning difficulties) A valid DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one Strong communication and teamwork skills A caring, patient, and adaptable approach What We Offer: Full-time, term-time-only position Supportive school environment Opportunity to make a meaningful impact Competitive pay (depending on experience) If you are an experienced LSA looking for a rewarding full-time role in Stevenage, we would love to hear from you
