Service Manager – Groundcare Machinery Take the next step in your career with one of the UK’s leading groundcare machinery dealers. The Role We are looking for an experienced Service Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of my clients busy workshop and service department. This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll drive performance, support a team of 6 engineers, and ensure customers receive the highest level of service. You’ll be responsible for service scheduling, job allocation, team development, and making sure all machinery is repaired and maintained to the highest standards. Key Responsibilities Manage the service department, including scheduling, job allocation, and workflow planning Supervise and support a team of field and workshop engineers Ensure high-quality repairs, servicing, and PDI inspections Maintain accurate service records, parts usage, and time allocations Build and maintain strong customer relationships Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement Liaise with suppliers and manufacturers on warranty and technical matters Ensure full health and safety compliance within the workshopAbout You Ideally have some management experience as a Service Manager or Workshop Supervisor (desirable)  Strong technical background in agricultural, groundcare, or construction machinery Confident leader with the ability to motivate and manage a team Excellent communication and customer service skills Highly organised and proactive, with the ability to work under pressure Computer-literate with experience using service/job management systems Full UK driving licenceWhat’s on Offer Competitive salary based on experience Pension scheme 23 days’ holiday plus bank holidays Additional wellbeing day Holiday allowance increases with service
