Project Manager – Ductwork / Ventilation Location: North London (Office & Site-Based) Hours: Monday – Friday | 8:00am – 5:00pm A leading Ductwork & Ventilation Contractor based in North London is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their growing team. The company delivers commercial and industrial projects including commercial offices, manufacturing facilities, shopping centres, train stations, MOD projects and more. Project values can reach up to £1.5m, although most schemes typically range between £500k–£600k. Due to continued growth, they are looking for a Project Manager with a strong ductwork or ventilation background to oversee multiple projects from contract award through to final handover. The Role You will join a team of six Project Managers, working between the North London office and project sites. Key Responsibilities: Project & Commercial Management Manage projects from pre-construction through to completion Review contracts, drawings, specifications, and scopes of work Prepare and manage project budgets and cash flow forecasts Monitor costs, variations, and overall project profitability Evaluate and negotiate variations, change orders, and claims Approve supplier and subcontractor payments in line with progress Work closely with estimators during handover and on variations Planning & Coordination Develop and maintain project programmes and short-term lookahead schedules Coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors, and internal teams Chair and attend progress, coordination, and site meetings Ensure timely approval of shop drawings, samples, and technical submittals Procure materials, ductwork fabrication, and specialist services Coordinate production, deliveries, and installation sequencing Site & Quality Control Oversee site installation activities and productivity Coordinate ductwork installation alongside other trades Ensure compliance with drawings, approved details, and industry standards Manage snagging, testing, commissioning, and final handover documentation Conduct site inspections and quality audits Health & Safety Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations Implement company safety procedures and risk assessments Salary & Package £65,000 – £70,000 (depending on experience) £4,800 car allowance 23 days holiday (increasing with length of service) Company phone Laptop Pension scheme This is an excellent opportunity to join an established and expanding contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial and industrial projects.
