Year 1 Teacher – Waltham Forest – £190 to £240 Daily Rate – Full Time – Immediate Start – Primary School A full-time opportunity is available for a Year 1 Teacher seeking a new long-term role. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join a welcoming primary school in Waltham Forest. The daily rate for this role ranges from £190 to £240 per day, depending on experience. The successful candidate must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have experience teaching Year 1 or Key Stage 1. Do you have experience teaching in KS1, particularly Year 1? Do you hold QTS? The Position – Year 1 Teacher We are looking for a passionate and committed Year 1 Teacher to join a supportive primary school. You will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum, supporting pupils as they transition from EYFS into Key Stage 1. A strong understanding of phonics (including the Phonics Screening Check) is essential, along with effective assessment and classroom management skills. You will create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that supports both academic progress and personal development. The ability to differentiate learning and support pupils of varying abilities, including those with SEN, is highly valued.
