FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER – MOBILE CRUSHING & SCREENING – RELOCATE TO MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA A well-established, privately owned Australian equipment specialist with over 30 years of industry success is seeking an experienced Service Engineer to support its mobile crushing and screening operations based out of Melbourne, Victoria. Operating nationally, the business is the exclusive dealer for Terex Finlay, Terex Ecotec and Pilot Crushtec, supplying world-leading crushing, screening and recycling equipment to mining, quarrying, construction and waste-recycling customers. Backed by strong OEM partnerships and a fully supported national spare parts and field service infrastructure, the organisation has built its reputation on premium after-sales support and long-term customer relationships. This is a unique opportunity for a UK-based Service Engineer to permanently relocate to Melbourne, Australia and join a high-performing technical team in a service-driven environment. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide field service support for mobile crushers, screeners, conveyors and associated equipment across client sites throughout Victoria and wider Australia. * Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and control-system faults to maximise uptime and performance. * Carry out commissioning, breakdown response, routine servicing and wear-part replacements on mobile plant. * Utilise telematics and data systems to review machine performance and provide technical recommendations. * Deliver on-site customer support, operator training and technical guidance. * Maintain accurate service documentation, parts usage records and downtime analysis reports. KEY REQUIREMENTS * 3–5+ years’ hands-on, direct experience working on large mobile crushing, screening or aggregate plant – experience on Terex / McCloskey / Metso advantageous. * Strong mechanical aptitude with proven hydraulic fault-finding capability; electrical and control-system knowledge advantageous. * Experience in a field-based service role, comfortable travelling and working in varied site conditions. * Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport with customers on-site. * Trade qualification (NVQ Level 3 / equivalent) preferred. * Must be UK-based and willing to permanently relocate to Melbourne, Australia.
