Support Worker – Specialist SEN School (Near the New Forest) Start Date: March 2026 Contract: Long-term, with the strong possibility of becoming permanent Location: Near the New Forest Pay: £13.70 – £16 per hour (40 hours a week) Hours: Full-time, shift-based (morning–afternoon or afternoon–night) About the Role We are seeking caring, resilient and enthusiastic Support Workers for a specialist SEN school located close to the New Forest. This role begins from March 2026 on a long‑term basis, with the school looking to offer a permanent contract for the right person. You will be supporting children and young people with a range of autism spectrum conditions and complex needs, helping them thrive socially, emotionally and academically. This school offers specialist education for pupils aged 7–19, many of whom have EHCPs and require structured, consistent support in both learning and daily routines. No personal care is required, but you will play a key role in promoting independence, building life skills and creating a positive, nurturing environment where every pupil feels safe, listened to and valued. The school’s approach focuses on personalised support, therapeutic input and a calm, structured setting that enables students to flourish. You will work closely with teachers, support staff, and the school’s wider multidisciplinary team to ensure pupils receive consistent, high‑quality care.
