Teaching Assistant

JOB TITLE - Teaching Assistant (TA) ABOUT THE SCHOOL Prospero Teaching is seeking a reliable and dedicated Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a supportive Primary School based in South Bristol. The school offers a collaborative environment with strong staff support and regular CPD opportunities. Depending on performance, this role may lead to a contract extension or a permanent position. CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS Location: South Bristol Position: Teaching Assistant (TA) Full-Time: Monday to Friday Day Rate: £90 - £110 per day Hours: 8:20 am - 3:30 pm EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS Previous experience working in a UK school is mandatory A minimum of 24 months of verifiable, child‑related references is required Experience supporting students with Special Educational Needs is desirable, including: Autism Speech & Language Needs Up‑to‑date safeguarding training completed within the last year Strong command of spoken and written English Experience in healthcare or supporting vulnerable individuals is desirable TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR THIS ROLE THROUGH PROSPERO TEACHING, YOU MUST: Hold the Right to Work in the UK Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered on the Update Service, or be willing to apply for a new one Provide two professional, child‑related references covering the last 24 monthsIf you would like to be considered for this role, please apply with a copy of your up‑to‑date CV.
