Document Controller

Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Document Controller on a 4 Month Contract, based in Middlesbrough Role Summary We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Document Controller to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing, tracking, and maintaining company documents to ensure accuracy, quality, and integrity. You will play a key part in supporting project teams by ensuring all documentation is properly stored, updated, and distributed. Key Responsibilities * Manage and maintain document control systems and procedures * Ensure all documents are correctly filed, version-controlled, and easily accessible * Distribute documents to relevant stakeholders in a timely manner * Monitor document revisions and maintain logs of changes * Ensure compliance with company and regulatory documentation standards * Support project teams with document submissions and approvals * Archive and retrieve documents as required Requirements * Proven experience working on site as a Document Controller * EDMS experience. * Background in substation and/or renewable energy, construction or utilities background. * Comfortable being fully site-based * Strong understanding of engineering and construction documentation processes * Experience managing drawings, RFIs, technical submissions, and document registers * Ability to liaise effectively with engineers, project managers, and subcontractors * Strong attention to detail and organisational skills * Managing and maintaining all site documentation * Controlling drawing revisions and ensuring correct distribution * Supporting project teams with document tracking and reporting * Ensuring compliance with project and company document control procedures * Maintaining accurate records for audits and handover * 4-month rolling contract * Rates negotiable * Immediate start preferred Our Company Rubicon Consulting is a Talent management consultancy which helps you to optimise business performance and competitive advantage by choosing the right people first time
