Powder Coating Plant Operatives - Rotating Shifts

Job Description: We are seeking dedicated Powder Coating Plant Operatives to join our manufacturing team on rotating shifts. This role involves operating and maintaining equipment within a dynamic powder coating environment, ensuring high-quality finishes on a variety of products. Applicants must be willing to work flexible hours on a rotating shift pattern, including early mornings, afternoons, and nights. All roles are paid positions, including internships, and offer the chance to grow within the company. Responsibilities: * Working on a rotating shift: Mon-Fri: 6am till 2pm & Mon-Thurs 2pm - 10:30pm, Fri 2:00pm till 8:00pm. * Operate powder coating machinery and associated equipment safely and efficiently * Prepare surfaces for coating by cleaning, masking, or sanding as required * Monitor coating processes to ensure consistent quality and adherence to specifications * Perform routine maintenance and inspections on plant equipment to minimise downtime * Assist with loading and unloading materials using hand tools and power tools * Maintain a clean and organised work environment in accordance with health and safety standards * Record process data accurately and report any issues or defects promptly * Support fabrication or assembly tasks related to the coating process when necessary Experience: * Mechanical knowledge is essential, with experience in operating or maintaining industrial equipment preferred * Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and basic fabrication techniques * Previous experience within Powder Coating techniques is essential. * Familiarity with assembly processes and working in a warehouse or manufacturing setting is desirable * Basic maths skills for measurements, calculations, and quality checks are required * Previous experience in construction painting or working with powder coating systems will be considered an asset PLEASE NOTE DUE TO THE LOCATION OF OUR CLIENT & SHIFT TIMES, CANDIDATES MUST EITHER LIVE IN THE LOCAL AREA OR HOLD A VALID DRIVING LICENSE & OWN VEHICLE.
